About Me
I believe that many who find that 'nothing happens' when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a tough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand. - C.S. Lewis
**as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept;
and gladness of heart,
as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord**
- Isaiah 30:29
In comparison to some I'm still relatively new to this whole malarkey (a little over 4 years). Have to date tried over 100 distinct tobacco blends and have posted small number of reviews...
Most of my reviews are full, but I have recently started adding 'short' reviews which are really just general thoughts, not fully fleshed out but they do still give a genuine overview of my thoughts on the tobacco. They may yet get developed.
My 'version' of Fr Tom's rating system (http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/user/14371) makes sense of the 4-star system and seems to work well for me:
4 - Excellent - A cut above, and worth returning to
3 - Good - This could be an everyday smoke
2 - OK - There are better options. I'll smoke what I have but probably won't buy again
1 - Poor - No desire to attempt to finish the quantity I have
When I find something of my own devising that is noteworthy I shall place it here: __________ .
I also quite like Classic Crime novels and have a place where I put these thoughts down https://hughdunnett.blogspot.com
