Started pipe smoking in 1980. Smoked for several years and then due to work, travel and a growing family I gave up. Re-kindled my interest in about 2005, and now suffer badly with PAD and TAD!! Set up the Facebook group: UK Pipe and Tobacco Club (500 members now), and also a member of Pipe Club of London. Probably have in excess of 300 pipes now (a lot are refurbished estates), plus a collection of Boer War pipes (1899-1902). Very wide range of tastes in tobacco, and have dabbled recently with my own blends.
