| I liked this tobacco a lot. It has a very nice smell when opening the tin and the flavour remains in the tobacco most of the way down the bowl. It is going to be my tobacco for when I deserve something of a treat. I like Amaretto a lot so this is perfect. I smoked 3 bowls one immediately after the other. This will be my Sunday special. Another hit from Peterson for me.

| Four Stars. This is one of the best aromatics I've had the pleasure of smoking. If you don't like amaretto then obviously this is not the blend for you.
First off, the blend is radically different when you first open the tin then from later on when it has had time to more or less air out. As I have encountered with other Peterson aros, when first opened the flavorings are super concentrated. The first fews bowls were simply incredible. The sweet amaretto was forefront as I smoked throughout the bowl and by the end it tasted like marshmellow. A definite dessert smoke.
After several bowls, the concentrated flavorings in the tin settled down and I was left with a first class aromatic. Nice sweet taste throughout with an equally pleasant tobacco flavor underneath.
I usually smoke English/Balkan blends and like a nice aromatic for a change of pace.

| My 2 year aged tin smelt great once it was opened.Seems moist but not wet.Packed, lit, and smoked well.Love the amaretto aroma.Had no problems with this tobacco so far.Was hoping for more of an amaretto taste. On the fence about getting another tin,but so far I would recommend this tobacco, just let it age and you may be surprised what you get.

| One of THE pipe tobaccos to try if aromatics are your thing. I first tried it about four or five years ago due to to the many positive reviews I read here.
I don't find it as cased as a lot of the other blends I use, and it has always burnt very well for me whether it was dried out or not. Great aroma and great flavour. I really wanted to give this a four star, but I just couldn't do it for some reason. Maybe because I don't see it as an "any time of day" blend, I really tend to prefer it in the mornings on a day off of work. Pretty specific time to be sure, so I'll go with my gut feeling...but if I could give it 3.5 out of 4 I would.
If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot. I like it in my Peterson of course, it fits like a glove...

| Compliments, compliments, compliments- from both men and women. If you smoke this indoors, it will bring you a lot of attention. Positive in my experience, but lots of questions as to what you are smoking. Be ready to engage in friendly conversation. I smoke this when I definitely want to please those around me,
Quality tobacco base. Must try for an aromatic fan. Worth a try even if you are not.

| As a novice smoker who mostly enjoys aromatics, I found this tobacco very easy to enjoy. It doesn't require years of pipe experience to get a pleasurable smoke from this tobacco. The Tin aroma is wonderful, and the smoke fills the room with a cozy scent. It was easy to pack, light and keep lit, with little warmth and moisture in the bowl.

| Grab the nickel, sssss the tin and twist the top. The aroma smells edible to the point to were you might not want to share. Damp like most Peterson's tins, let it air a bit. I'm a big, picky aromatic smoker. I also smoke and enjoy fairly heavy English and VaPers, for different times.
It comes through, but hot with heavy flavoring. After several bowls, in several pipes, the last part always gets bitter. Nicely though, the amaretto flavor seems to stay. I do not note much tobacco flavor. The flavoring stays on the tongue. The room note is wonderful, but there is nothing but the promise of the future for this blend for me.
I've got two tins cellaring, we'll see in six months... It's quality stuff, but not my liking for trusted everyday, like McClelland 620 or Nording Retriever.
It seems to be difficult to make a 'Amaretto' work. I still haven't found an 'Apple' or 'Cherry' I enjoy either.
From the opening aroma, I wanted this one to work. I won't smoke it now to make anyone happy, it doesn't interest me. We'll see in a few months.

| Upon opening the tin, the smell of the amaretto casing hits you straight away, with very little smell of the tobacco itself. I also found it to be on the wet side from the tin. It loads and packs easily.
During the first few puffs, the tobacco taste seems to be the most prominant one, with quite a good burley taste, but as you move down the bowl, the casing starts to take over more, with a sort of creamy taste also detected. One problem with this blend is that it always seems to bite. I have tried lots of different things (smoking slower, extended drying times, etc) but it always seems to nip the tongue slightly.
In short, this is a nice blend with good flavour but the moisture amd biting problems are slightly frustrating.

| Maybe because my tin looks different (red label?) than one in the photo, this tobacco does not have any quality to be "recommended". It is good-looking, fine smelling but without even of trace of pleasure of smoking. Boring, boring, boring!
My rate is pure 1.

| This is heaven in a tin. If only it wasn't so expensive here. After trying this I have finally come to know the difference between quality tobacco and the cut and dried paddock weed that some other tobacco's taste like. I cannot recommend this one enough to other lovers of aromatics.

| Peterson tobacco leaf is always top quality; Sunset Breeze is no exception, beautiful leaf of burley/Cavendish. The tin note is heavily cased Amaretto/Almond fragrance, without artificial flavoring agents.
Taste, flavore and room note are exactly the same as the tin fragrance, no surprise. This is a heavy aromatic premium pipe tobacco that tastes burley, smells truly fantastic, its much better if aged for at least 3-4 month or more(tin opened).
This is a unique fragrant tobacco, excellent to impress ladies and friends around you while still enjoying good smoke, but completly nonsense if smoked alone.
A must have for your aromatic collection.

| When I first popped open the tin everyone in the room commented on the wonderful Amaretto fragrence that almost immediatly filled the room. Upon first light it blowtorched my mouth, but when I recovered and continued I really enjoyed this blend. The tobacco was good and the Amaretto wafted in and out very nicely. The tounge bite was only present upon lighting up. Take it easy and light up slowly, you will be rewarded.

| Tin aroma and room note are superb. A very nice Amaretto/Almond casing is prevalent. However, because of how wet this stuff is, it's hard to keep lit without a thorough drying out. Additionally, because of the amount of flavorings and/or casing present, there is an acrid aftertaste that stays with me for what seems like days and burns the tongue like the dickens!
Bottom line: This is a tobacco that's for the standers-by and not the smoker. I'll finish the tin, but won't buy another.

| Sunset Breeze may be an aromatic like many others: The tobacco-taste is traceable, yet, the casing dominates. HOWEVER: There are some remarkable things about this tobacco. The casing stays with you throughout the entire bowl if smoked slowly; tonguebite is minimal (in a filter pipe at least); it burns slowly and doesn't smoke hot/wet; burns smoothly after two lights and it stays lit! The taste is sweet but not too sweet and the armaretto tastes excellent throughout the whole smoke. Definately a tobacco I'd buy again! Best wishes, Marco
