I'm smoking this blend in a meerschaum pipe Barling find this sweetness due to a slight acidity of the blend. It has a very mild nutty taste, very slight, and it is not exciting and is a smoke low satisfactory. It is as if the tastes of different tobaccos used cancel each other, giving a taste a bit sloppy. Do not show any characteristics that might make interesting a smoke with this blend. Luckily I only bought 2 oz. For lovers of Burley as Virginia, think well before buying a large quantity (or even small?)

Here is a ribbon blend with a good dose of virginia as well as nutty burley. A little VAB (vanilla) essence is added but just barely noticeable. A small amount of Perique is added for coolness. A dry smoke.

It's a blend for someone wanting to get into burley, but there is enough virginia to play out a balancing act. Rich tasting and a little comparable to old Three Nuns in taste but burley is added here.

Maybe too much virginia for an all day smoke but it basically has a nutty burley taste and slight sweetness.

A bit comparable to McCranie's/McClellands Old Masters or McArris blends. Sorta in between those.

Recommending for someone wanting to get into burley blends.
