| Ribbons of good quality golden, light Virginia and Dark Black Cavendish. Strong, Heavily Fruity and Caramel flavour and taste, both, together. !m surprised with this Blend,so different flavour and taste. Very Good stuff. Planta produced very good Blends, as Cellini, Presbyterian, Exotic Mixture, Jacaranda etc... This is not a exception. 4 stars

| That blend is like many aromatics which promise a lot when opening the pouch but fail to meet the expectations. Fruity notes for sure at the beginning of the smoke, it may bites the tongue a little later. Not on top of my list but worth a try, no disappointment. Room note: need to get approval otherwise some problems! Nice smoke in the open air!

| Another good Planta blend. Caramel flavours for sure. Burns steadily, delivers fresh taste and aroma. As I always smoke German style - I mean 9mm act charcoal system pipes, I never get bite or tongue burn. So, this does also not bite. Good choice of aromatic. A Higher grade for who likes this woud be WO Larsens (Simply Unique) blend.

| This tobacco is currently produced by Planta.
It is very heavily cased (unclassifiable caramel-fruity) and leaves a sour aftertaste. It is not as mild in strength as it has been suggested by others in the sense that the casing is so powerful that it tends to bite and burn.
could possibly be mixed with an unflavored cavendish to produce a more low-key, less perky aromatic.

| Apart from the several low grade given reviews, i believe this tobacco deserves a much better rating. The taste is really mild to medium which in case you were an aromatic smoker then you will really come to like it. It is very noticably fruity flavour is also present with a touch of carmel indeed to it. Just give it a few times trial with a dedicated pipe and a loose packing. recomended indeed for the aromatic smoker.

| Sans Souci is NOT made by Dan Tobacco, but by another German manufacturer- Planta Tabak based in Berlin.
http://www.planta-tabak.de/
http://www.geniesser-point.de/shop/index.php?manufacturers_id=39&osCsid=bfe6956b156fe0c14f145ed8eef61929
I asume that it is imported to the USA by CAO, which is also a Dan distributor, hence the mistake.
The tobacco has a very noticeable fruity aroma, when the pouch is opened. Very close to Blue Note! However it is very mild and when smoked, the strong aroma isn't present at all. Room note is very peasant. Reccomended!

| When they brought it to me, first of all I was impressed with the box and secondly I was impressed by the natural caramel flavor that the tobacco had.
I took a glass of whisky and opened the box to enjoy it.
Disappointment.
It burned my tongue, no taste, very sharp and liquid in the bowl.

| I did get this together with some other stuff just to try it out. My first impression was: "OMG what garbage!!!"
Then, bowl after bowl, my impression improved - but not notably. Eventually, my son said that he liked the room note. This is the only reason I am giving this two stars.

| This is the third of Dan Tobacco`s aromatics I was gifted. I have reviewed Blue Note and Da Vinci already. There is a family resemblance between the three. Just as Mac Baren has a signature honey on toast note, Dan Tobacco has a signature berry, sweet-and-sour note. This note is at its strongest in Majestic Mixture. You either like it or not.
What saves all three aromatics is the quality of the virginia in them. The virginias never give up, and there is always a passable level of nicotine. The tobaccos are dry in the packing and burn well. As a precautionary measure I smoked them all in cobs, and cobs are forgiving. I would not buy any of these blends on my own, but if given them, would probably not recycle them either.

| Here's one nobody has touched. Don't bother, unless heavy aromatics are your thing. I was looking for a replacement for a caramel flavored blend from Lane that I used to smoke once or twice a year. I sent a sample with my sister in law to a tobak trafik where she knows the owners well, and she came back with this. To be fair I only smoked half a bowl, so don't forget your grain of salt with this review. this stuff is very HEAVILY CASED, typical of many German blends. I've still got the pouch, if anyone wants to trade. . .
