| Blarney Twist has been off the market for ages. I suspect my tin was from the sixties or seventies. I got in off Ebay, still with an intact vacuum seal.
The coins are very similar to those in Three Nuns, but much darker. The leaf is of exquisite quality, and it packs and burns like a dream.
It is mostly dark Virginias, but I suspect some Périque in it as well, because Blarney Twist is exceedingly strong - very comparable to Lakeland twists.
This is a good smoke, but overwhelmingly strong. Taste is creamy and smooth with an unusual topping added. It could be compared to St. Bruno, but it has even more edge and zest to it.
When I crave something really strong, I load up with Blarney Twist, knowing that my dwindling supply probably will be my last - ever.
