| This is one of the first of Grant's fine portfolio of English blends that I have added to my Top100 cellar. Grant's has its own, very refined style of blending that I favor - I enjoy every one in their lineup.
The taste is light, but interesting and sufficiently complex to be an all-dayer for many pipers. The Latakia is definitive, and the Orientals and Virginia interplay nicely. More than Squadron Leader, which has a different flavor profile due to the different Oriental leafs, Balkan Light puffs consistently with my various pipes, and I find it a marvelous way to start any day.
