| This looks, tastes, and smells similar to Lane's "BCA" blend of black cavendish. Can it be? Anyway, it does smell very nice in the pouch, it has a very pleasant room note, produces huge clouds of fragrant smoke, doesn't bite, but doesn't have much flavor either. Make sure you let it dry out on a plate for at least a day if you don't want to go through a box of matches keeping it lit. If you enjoy a bland, almost flavorless smoke that smells good, this is for you.
On the other hand, it makes a great blending tobacco. Blend one-third Tinderbox Black Vanilla Cavendish (or Lane BCA) with two-thirds Tinderbox Wilshire (or Lane 1Q), and let it air dry out on a plate for at least 24 hours. Makes a delighful aromatic smoke. In the world of aromatics, you will not find a better blend than Lane 1Q+BCA, IMHO.
