| I am still experimenting with this one. So far I can say it is a mixture from very high quality leaf, mild to medium in strength and with a very subtle and natural sweetness (not sugary nor goopy).
Variegated leaf, rough to coarse cut, it is easy to pack but it takes some time before it properly lights. It smokes smoothly, with a fine, flowery and delicate aroma (more a sonata than a concerto or a symphony). In spite of the Cavendish, IMO this does not qualify as a rich, earthy blend (it is definitely not a Danish), but it is very palatable and not at all tongue biting. In terms of strength, this could be thought of as an upgraded version of Larsen?s Classic, with more of body and character.
Tasty, nice and polite, I think this is an excellent choice to move from artificially aromatic tobaccos to the taste of natural leaf, especially of matured, sweet Virginias. Not a bad smoke at all.
