Now I'm not by any means a tobacco snob and do enjoy a few "drug store" blends, but this was by far the worse. The tobacco is super sticky right out of the industrial sized bag which gummed up the pipe I used which was thank god was not one of my good ones. It tasted like someone soaked the tobacco in peach scented Mr. Clean. I couldn't smoke more than 1/4 of a bowl from the acrid chemically flavor, and the severe case of tongue bite it quickly gave me. I put it in my cellar just to see if it improves any.

A neighbor of mine recommended this blend to me, and I'm glad she did! It burns well and smooth. Does it have a strong peach casing? Yes, and it's very pleasant. Is it a little sticky from humectant? Perhaps. But that's what also produces a dramatic fog upon smoking. This is a tobacco I would invite friends to try.

I agree it is a cheap blend. plain and simple you can buy 12 oz for around $12.00 at your local wallgreens. Not to bash or anything like that. Decent for a newer pipe smoker who isnt sure what they should start with mainly due to accessability.

Out of bag- Dear Lord this smells like candy. A very sticky tobacco. in fact I usualy press it between two coffee filters to try and dry it out a bit.

Out of pipe- It burns cool but dang is it sticky.. i can hear it slosh about at the bottom of the pipe and for that reason i dont use it with my nicer pipes. Decent room note my girl really enjoys the sweet stench.

It reminds me of two pleasant things: peaches and cream oatmeal, and hookah tobacco. I concure with many of the reviews here. Smokes mild and doesn't burn hot, but tends to smoke wet. Sweet smoke but peach mostly comes out in the snork (smoke through your nose). It is indeed difficult to keep lit, even for an experienced smoker. It is what it is, but it still is a far cry better than most aromatics I have tried.

A cheap blend, definitely cheap. tolerable, and somewhat pleasant room note, smokes very wet though, was starting to wonder if it was s tobacco or a desert. If you would like something that smokes cool this is one that qualifies, but it's a bit hard to keep lit even with proper packing. Had some success drying it out on a plate under a desk lamp. didn't taste like much though.

I love the smell of this. It smells like the peach tea that my mom made in the summer time as a kid. Smokes cool but abit wet. The peach is way over powering about midway through a bowl. It's great the next time I smoke the pipe with some Carter hall.

This is a cheap, aromatic, propylene-glycol infused blend through and through. Although it smells like peach flavored candy, and almost has the consistency of Shisha, I found it to be a pleasant starter blend. Despite it being rather sticky due to corn syrup and other ameliorates, I liked it. It's a rather wet smoke, so I recommend drying it. It won't burn hot, but it will burn wet. It smells extremely sweet and peachy, so this is an okay blend to smoke around others. It tastes like a peach candy, with just a subtle creamy smoothness of good old Black Cavendish and Burley. I don't recommend this to experienced smokers, as it can goop up a good pipe. (Nothing a good salt treatment won't take care of.) That being said, it's a good beginner's blend because in addition to its excellent packing quality, it leaves the palate yearning for stronger flavor. I found that it helped me nail down what different flavors there are in the tobacco world, as they are hard to detect when first starting out. They have unique tastes unlike anything else, and this blend will definitely leave the smoker asking the right questions at the tobacconist's counter. All in all, I can't really knock it. If you get the mechanics of packing it right, and dry the leaf well, it will smoke okay, but that casing will come through and almost drown out everything else. It's also dirt cheap, so that's a plus. If you like sweet, sweet, easy smoking blends and have a penchant for peach, this is the leaf for you. It won't bite and it does taste nice, but doesn't leave much to be said for natural tobacco flavor. Start out with this and move on up the ladder. It will teach you what to look for in terms of quality, taste and flavor if you're new to the Brotherhood of Briar.

Although I enjoy several BG blends, I really have nothing good to say about this one. But thats because I don't care for the peach flavouring.

I reviewed this under "Walgreens" and said this:

10-14-09 Had to get it-12 ounces for 7.99! I don't know if I will ever finish it, but it's really not so bad. Pleasant peach flavor, not overpowering, decent burley. If you like aromatics (and peaches), this could save you some money; and the other Walgreens (Blenders Gold) bags are a great value as well.

4-16-10 This is still sitting in jars (I actually bought and jarred it in September 2008), and really I am treating it as a reserve tobacco. Too much really good stuff to smoke. I don't remember it being bad, though probably not memorable.

OK, smoked some. You can really hear the PG crackle on the light. I don't think it's heavy, though. Age has toned down the peaches. What's left is cheap burley, but considering the price, not so horrible.

5-13-11 Revisted this blend for its yearly checkup! Still tastes like peaches; they are really only "toned down" a little bit. Due to PG, this stuff is shelf and jar stable. There's a bit of an "undertaste" that is not due just to the topping...
