| This will not be easy to find as it is out of production... I popped a 20 year old tin recently and discovered a long, ribbon cut conglomeration of all kinds of stuff. Some blends mellow out and become quite tasty with age; H. Simmons Navy blend mellowed way too much for me. It is light on flavor and strength although long on enjoyment, if that makes sense.
I wound up smoking this blend very slowly in order to savor the raisin/fig type of flavor. A faster burn rate destroyed any opportunity to taste much. I had to leave the room for about 20 minutes after smoking half a bowl. I came back to a room still filled with a heavenly tobacco aroma. Maybe this tobacco would be best if given to a friend to smoke, as long as he is sitting next to you.
