| A very fine mixture, designed to introduce an aromatic smoker to the deep, rich world of English blends. It accomplishes this goal and also offers the traditional English tobak afficianado a sweet-tooth satisfier for a change of pace, as the prior review by Wombat aptly points out.
But this is no after-thought tobacco; it has complexity and the quality of the tobaccos used in this blend are top-notch. The black cavendish which is present here is not the cloying, sickly sweet usual bulk-blend type. Though it adds sweetness, it does so in a judicious manner that allows the latakia and other leaf to shine.
An excellent blend.
