| I agree with the previous review. That is one of the best aromatic there is. It may be said that in Berlin they have an old tradition of adding red wine to pipe tobacco, as related in one of the short story from 'the tales of Hoffman' (the book not the opera!) where the narrator meets the ghost of composer Gluck mixing his own blend and adding red Burgundy. Yes, that is romantic German story-telling! Here they use red Italian wine. A little overwhilming at the end of the smoke but highly recommended. The added wine is noticeable in the tin. A very satisfactory smoke, much enjoyable.

| This tobacco is the best I've smoked in aromatic tobaccos. I bought it from the KaDeWe store in Berlin. Back then they had offered me a 5 gr. mixture of which I tried at the store and I was delighted. In fact I send sms to all friends who smoke aromatic. So I decided to leave it on the side for another 6 months in order to mature further. In April 2009, I finally opened it. Very coarse, burns slowly, leaving a fine perfume until the end of the bowl. Virginia Berley Cavendish create a very good mix that combined with the distinctive flavor of the Italian liqueur give a great flavor and aroma without losing the taste of tobacco, which usually occurs with the aromatic. Will definitely reorder it.
