| initial whiff from the pouch is kinda subdued. everything that should be in an english mixture is present, but somehow very light and unified, if that makes sense.
easy to light - a little drier, perhaps, than other compton's blends. and this is indeed a smooth smoke, and an all day smoke. nothing sticks out or fights for attention. a bit like nightcap, only very much less strength (compton's compare it to "white spot", but i've never tried that blend). no bite, no harshness, just delightfull english flavours in exquisite velvety balance. works absolutely perfect as a morning or afternoon blend - it's a little too light and smooth as an evening or nighttime smoke, at least to my taste.
