| This is a very interesting aromatic blend from Owl Shop. Very similar in taste to Harkness Tower, but with a light smokey flavor that has soaked up many of my nights in contemplation as to what it is. Simply put...this is the english smoker's aromatic. As with all Owl Shop's blends, its sold a bit dry, which makes packing the short ribbons simple. It smokes with ease right to the bottom, and has zero bite or gurgle. I love the room note, others, who are not familiar with the aroma of english blends might be turned off. for those of you not in the New England area...think Nightcap, without Perique, and a turned up Latakia/Oriental pressence. If you think you have been there/done that with aromatics, then prepare to eat crow...This is the blend I look forward to, and reach for when the trees start to color, and old man winter begins to creep into the night. I enjoy this with a Milk Stout, or perhaps German Roucshbier to bring out the delicious smokey ambience. so pack up your deepest Oom Paul, and take a stroll through the dark New England forrests without ever leaving your smoking chair. Lockwoods is a mixture of pure enjoyment.
