Please note i tried many times before this blend, to avoid "first impressions". And i would really appreciate some other opinion! I wrote before in italian and then in english, so i can translate my thoughts.

Taglio: ready rubbed flake, molto scuro, con qualche tocco dorato. Tabacco mediamente umido.

English version

Cut: ready rubbed flake, almost completely dark, with some hints of golden leafs. Quite wet.

Opening the tin: Nice aroma of dry figs and dates, with a sour/acid note that remember McClelland virginias, but without the "ketchup" smell.

Packing: Easy, you can rub it a little more, but useless in my opinion. I let it dry at least 30 mins. I aslo tried half a day (no difference).

Smoking: Since first puffs, you can feel the presence of virginia sweet notes and the sour component. The problem of this tobacco is just that: the sour/acid taste, that becomes tongue biting after some puffs, and is overwhelming, hiding also the good berries taste this tobacco had. I tried it both in briar pipes (Savinelli and Comoy straights) and also in a meerschaum straight. No way. The smoking is less biting just if you got a nice calabash, as i tried, but still my tongue was not so happy at the end. And i swear i've been carefully smoking.

Even if i tried to be generous, i can't recommend it: there is much better to buy in my opinion!
