| Has a nice pouch aroma, just like honey, and the wife likes the room note. I bought this from a tobacco shop I usually do not frequent. I sniffed what was in the canisters, mostly Edward's, and this one smelled the best, so I bought two ounces. It was on the dry side, so I added a couple of humidifying tins, and let it sit for a week. The flavor is very nice and sweet and it has a pleasant golden Cavendish flavor, could be a little stronger. It did bite me however, on the first smoke, I thought it was a problem with my packing. Tried it two more times and still got bit. Would really like the stuff, if it didn't bite me! One star for biting, three for flavor, two stars total. If it doesn't bite you, I think you will like it.

| Honey Cavendish was one of the first pipe tobaccos I tried because I was told that it was very mild. That would be an accurate description of the taste, but it was actually too mild for me, even as a beginning pipe smoker. I was looking for a sweeter taste than this blend offered at the time, but I wanted more of a sense that I was smoking "something". My wife thought that the room note was pleasant, but this is the only redeeming quality for my own personal taste. Because of the lack of strength, I found myself puffing way too much, which heated the pipe and gave a bit of a bite. I would recommend Honey Cavendish for anyone who wanted a truly mild pipe blend, but not for someone who has enjoyed a cigar here and there and wants more taste than this blend was made to deliver.

| A main stay at Edwards. My first quality blend in the late 60's. Dry, cool, and light.
Mostly virginia and a little burley string cut with a wee nose of perique for coolness. Edwards VAB (vanilla) essence is used, common to some of their other blends like Scottish Moor, but a lighter base is used here. Again, no spray just aroma curing of the burley.
It is intended to be light and can taste almost sugary sweet if and only if you puff it slowly. A little faster puffing, even though it may not noticeably heat up, and you lose most all of the flavor. Just like food too hot cannot be tasted. Puff too fast and you can get some bite. The flavor is there, you just have to relax to get it.
It is light for the beginner or for anyone who likes Danish styles but cool, again if the puffing is restrained. Better than most counterparts and dryer.

| Boring all the way thru, got bore after my 5th bowl not going back to it anytime soon. But if you like cavendish you could do worse.
