| Found this blend on the sale rack at one of my local tobacconist. Couldn't resist trying it.
This smoke opens with a chorus of Virgina sweetness with perique chiming in low at the very end. The chorus continues, developing hintys of nutty vanilla near the end of the first third of the bowl.
Little gurgle here, but nothing mister pipe cleaner can't manage. Probably due more to my drool than the tobak.
In the second third of the bowl, the blend settles down. Not gaining any complexity per se, rather becoming richer and fuller to the taste. Virginias and perique singing in a sweet harmony.
As the bowl dips into the final stretch, the blend gains some strength. Developing an almost woodsy flavor and perhaps a hine of anise.
Not terribly too much nicotine here, but enough to keep it interesting. This smoke had a little bite to it, but I'm an "enthusiastic puffer" as it were. Once I trottled down my draw, it was cool and sweet.
Worth a try if you can find it.
