The cornerstone of San Francisco tobacco shops, Grants, has produced a fine Oriental/English blend. The Oriantals are added with a heavy hand leading to a tangy, slightly sour and slightly sweet blend. Emperor Norton arrives a bit too moist and needs about a half hour of drying time. This tobacco packs well and rewards the smoker with a steady Oriental blend that is can be described as savory and rich. It's worth the visit to Grants to have a bowl of this fine blended house tobacco. Recommended.
