Many places pass this off as some kind of Danish, but it is in fact Cherry. I like to mix this with BCA. By itself it is sweet, but a good sweet. Aroma is very nice and you will get many compliments on its smell. Mixed with BCA cools and slows it down and adds the vanilla note. One of Lane's better tobaccos.

Rather than rate this blend against all aromatics blends, I'll just give an opinion upon how it rates among the cherry/rashberry etc. blends.

Firstly, it was just as advertised. Cherry. A pleasantly tasty aromatic cherry blend that burned cooly and produced no tongue burn or bite, but I did smoke it slowly and towards the bottom of the bowl required severaly re-lites. There was a small amount wet goop in the bottom that I have come to expect with cherry blends and am letting some of this dry out a bit to see if it improves the burning characteristics in the lower 1/3 of the bowl without affecting the overall flavor.

Overall I would give this blend a high rating and if you're fond of cherry blends, this one is definitely worth a trial run.

This is another favorite of mine that I really like to smoke in mixed company or out in public. This is another that I recommend to beginners as long as there not a fast smoker (had a few friends complain of bite that went away when they slowed down). I personally enjoy the flavor and like that others enjoy the Aroma. (a definite Lady magnet!!)

Had a few hard core pipe snobs say it was like candy, but to each his own I say. As long as you enjoy it, who cares. (maybe they should smoke more of this around the Ladies to get a little companionship and perhaps help them to lighten up eh?)

I only smoke this in one of my bigger Bjarne's and Stanwell's, it seamed to get a little too wet in one of my Peterson's. But anyhoo..........to me it truly smokes as it smells, so if you like cherries, this is for you!
