From snow covered cabins near Asheville to the festively decorated streets of Charleston, few regions celebrate Christmas with the friendly verve of the Carolinas. To share the spirit of this special time and place, we created this exquisite limited edition broken flake. Rich red Virginias sit atop a base of a blend of white and dark Burleys, joined by Green River Black Cavendish for a touch of sweetness. The barest hint of Cyprian Latakia serves to accentuate the main components, pulling together the entire sophisticated composition. |

| A pleasant, slightly sweet blend. Nice for a change of pace from a full English without going to a true aromatic

| The tin aroma of these loose-pressed, wide-cut flakes is dominated by the distinctiveness of black cavendish with the sweet woodiness of VAs supporting it.
The initial flavor is both brightly and sweet. The burley and latakia, though nearly evanescent, soon manifest and play admirably, cutting the sweetness a bit.
Easy burning and ingratiating, Carolina Christmas is pleasantly middling. Extended aging will likely have little significant effect, so enjoy this now. It went best in narrow to medium gauge chambers.

| Young Sykes Wilford has really done a good job of putting together a light English blend with a "down home" taste that is on the more sweet than sour side. I particulary enjoyed the delicate smattering of Burley and Virginia which enhanced the Latakia and Black Cavendish perfectly, and helped the blend burn evenly.
A tobacco to be enjoyed by the true ladies and gentlemen of our hobby. I just may go to Carolina for Christmas this year!

| Has an aroma, taste and even the texture of finely aged horse manure with a sweet touch of Latakia.

| This is a nice, easy smoking flake that I would call mildly english. If you are fan of Virginias, or Burleys then this may be right up your alley as they are predominant throughout the smoke.
The Cyprian Latakia takes a back seat here, but makes itself known with rich white smoke and aftertaste. In my opinion, they could have used a bit more Latakia, but then I love Latakia blends. This is a very high quality blend judging from the tin aroma, appearance and moisture content.
Overall, the room note is very nice. The taste is a bit one dimensional, but would make a nice all day smoke if you prefer saving the heavier blends for the evening.
I would recommend this blend for someone who is looking for a mild english blend, or a aromatic smoker wishing to test the english waters.
