Good stuff from the Chief. Got some samples at the end of this week and tried them out. Nice Matured Virginia/Perique mixture. The Perique it seems to me is on the low side and does not contribute that much to the taste. This can be a plus or a minus as regards the tolerance or the liking for that particular condiment tobacco and is a personal choice. Personally I'd like more punch from it and more noticeable taste but that being the case I can add more of that great Louisiana taste from my own supply if I care to.

The burn qualites are very good though it did require a light later on down the bowl but that could have been due to my more casual method of puffing and an inveterate lack of concentration at any task at hand most of the time.

I did notice that it was on the sweetish side of flavoring but that could be the natural effects of the matured Virginia.

Room note was fine but not of much concern to me as I don't believe a smoker can really get that accurate a reading without an outside trip to clear the nasal sensors and I'm too lazy for that. My wife did like the smell though andf I defer to her usual accurate opinions.

Taste was mild and pleasant from first to last and strength of the lend was about medium. All things considered a very nice "crusier weight" blend with a lot of potential.

Try it is my reccomendatio for this blend.
