| I must say this was a rather pleasant surprise. The tobacconist gave me a packet of this to try. Already an economy tobacco, it was free to me. And guess what? I rather liked it.
The taste is rich and hearty, with a touch of natural sweetness. Smacks notably of black pepper. The black pepper becomes more pronounced as the bowl warms.
Burns very well, and behaves very well.

| Good tobaccos, moisture level, and balance. Not up with the big names but much better than expected. No humectants detected. This may have a slight topping as it smells better than it should. A good value and possibly a good starter for those who are new to the English and Oriental blends. Not for the Latakia Zombies. This one is well balanced.
Update: Good in a pinch. Two and one-half stars.
