| Sometimes you can toss everything in a pot, stir occasionally, and low and behold the end product is superior to any of the components in the mix.
Sadly, this is not the case with Royal Viking 105. The best description that first comes to mind is "simply flat". The blend just doesn't have a "backbone" you can hang your hat on.
One the positive side, the blend burns fairly cool and rarely required a relite. Although I smoked it fairly slowly, there was no hint of bite or burn. This would be a good all day blend for new pipe smokers, but I suspect experienced smokers of aromatic blends are going to find this one a bit on the bland side.
