| Picked up a small bag of all Finck's tobacco on a recent trip to San Antonio
I'm sure this is some other Blend just relabeled, But Most small shops do this. Whatever it is, I like it. It is great 1st thing in the morning with a cup of coffee Not too moist, lite easily, didn't bite me. Taste is right down the middle, not too strong either
I would consider this in large Bulk but Fincks prices are way too high. Being in Texas They penalize us for some goofy reason and add extra taxes'

| I received a 14oz bag of this last week and broke the seal last night to taste. I was hopeful that at less than $21/lb. I had bought something both affordable and worthy of stockpiling. Alas, no. I have both Peter Stokkebeye's English Luxury and English Oriental Supreme on hand and this is definitely NOT either (at this time). In the bag it gave off a hint of "Englishness", but that did not carry through under fire. What Latakia is in it was lost. The rest of the "astonishing array of refined flavors" were too muddled to identify unless one considers notes of celery seeds and parsley among that array. The very narrow ribbon cut looked more like cigarette shag, and indeed, toward the end of each trial bowl I felt that I had just smoked a cigarette (despite the few strands of darker tobaccos in it). My wife even commented that it smelled like a cigarette. Smokable? Yes. Worth stockpiling? Not really.

| I've tried the Finck "English" offerings from time to time over the years and found them to be unrewarding. The mixtures are variable, probably depending on the supplier. They are often too wet (literally!) and some have had a mildew-like odor behind either minimal Latakia or Virgina/Burley characteristics. This particular blend is slightly better than their other and earlier versions, but the Latakia note seems a little lost. All versions bite. Additionally, the prices aren't particularly competitive.

| This appears to be Peter Stokkebye?s bulk blend ?English Oriental Supreme,? relabeled by Finck?s. A very smooth and rich blend with nice oriental flavors. And all at a very nice price.

| This blend has a nice smoky pouch aroma. Upon smoking, the Latakia isn?t too strong but blends well with the Burley, Virginia and Black Cavendish. It has a mild sweet taste and a wonderful room aroma. The description says it has ?an astonishing array of refined flavors? and I would have to agree with that. This is a very nice, medium-strength English blend that doesn?t cost too much. A good blend from Finck.
