A german tobacconist insisted that i should try this blend.when you open the tin you see bright virginias and cavendish in equal portions.the smell is caramel with vanilla notes and the moisture is proper.lights easy and some re lights are needed.the flavours are pleasant between caramel nuts, vanilla notes and some citruses.burns medium to hot with proper moisture and bites frequent even if you go slow.the room note is pleasant and the nicotine level is low to medium.when i smelled the aromas in the beginning i was ready for a unique smoking experience but it was just fine.it is a typical danish mixture but not unique.the moisture at the end of the bowl was medium.i can say it is an all day blend.

Nov 20, 2023 Very Mild Strong Mild Pleasant
Appearance: the tin of tobacco was released in early 2022. The tobacco is a mixture of a sloppily chopped ribbon of nearly black Cavendish and several Virginia varieties. Despite the name, the “yellow” leaf is by no means predominant. The tobacco is frankly moist, but it was impossible to dry it out completely even after an hour due to the large amount of glycerin.

Flavor: powerful complex fruity, berry and caramel flavor with a slight sourness reliably hides all tobacco notes. So intense smell of essences I met only in limited editions of Peterson, when the dried up, seemingly, box when restored came back literally from the other world, practically without losing the fullness of flavor. So there is virtually nothing I can write about tobacco itself - it is buried alive under the essence. Even Mac Baren's Original Choice has less essence.

Taste: Of course, initially you can feel a slightly sweet and chemically-made taste of the essence, which was generously poured on the tobacco. A winey and plumy cavendish note shyly makes its way through. No sign of virginia can be detected. As the tobacco heats up and burns, the essence almost disappears, and the tobacco acquires a mild but completely unremarkable taste, consisting of muted wood and wine tones with a faint plum tinge. The blend smokes slowly enough and coolly, but it does not tolerate overheating, immediately starts to get bitter and tries to bite the tongue. The strength is close to the minimum. Tobacco burns out into light gray ash without lumps, leaving some moisture in the pipe. Aftertaste is woody, slightly sweet, astringent.

The smoke from the tobacco has a faintly pronounced woody tint. It can be felt in the room, but quickly dissipates.

What's the bottom line? I can't call myself impartial when reviewing such blends, so I'll limit myself to a brief definition. This is a fairly ordinary Danish blend made from very good raw materials. It may well compete with the "choices" and "ambrosias" that have left us, because it smolders less hot, has the same (read - "no") strength and smells very brightly from the tin. Ladies in a room will be delighted.
