This is a beautiful dark and brown looking 'curly cut' tobacco with a wonderful tin scent and aroma, almost good to eat as is. The moisture seems right without the need to dry it out before lighting. It tends to light easily, after not more than two tries and continues almost so to the end while emmitting a nice blue-ish 'cloud' (smoke). I recall having to light it midway into the bowl after I put it down for a bit. In this sense, it is not different from many other blends. No further lighting was required thereafter, until the end when it fizzled out into a whitish ash at the bottom of the bowl. The Coconut flavor comes out distinctly from the first light and dominates most of the way, albeit with a faint Vanilla topping at the start though the Vanilla becomes 'fainter' before mid-bowl, after which it eventually 'disappears'. It has some element of sweetness and at some point, before mid-bowl it becomes pleasantly creamy and stays so before the end. For those who prefer unsweetened blends with large jabs of nicotine, this may not pass the mark, but for me it turned out to be an adorable smoke. It is mild, without tongue bite and can be enjoyed at anytime of day. I will even recommend it as dessert after a very hearty meal. For the second bowl, I blended it with Mac Baren's HH Acadian Perique. It became less sweet and more spicy when the Perique took hold; and was simply heavenly.
