Alfie Turmeaus-Sumer Slam. Looking at the mix there's no way this is straight Virginia, it's far too dark. I would say it's prominently Black Cavendish.
The whole of my pouch seems of a perfect quantity of water to smoke right away. As I find the un-lit aroma appealing I fill my pipe and light the moment I open it!
There is a fruity taste to the smoke but it but also a type of caramel and vanilla quality. The fact that I get no bite from the additives makes the smoke seem silky.
As well as tongue bite not occurring the enjoyment is heightened by the temperature, it stays cool throughout.
The nicotine is quite mild, see point 'A' about this being Black Cav'!
The room note is alright but nothing spectacular. After a while it seems too boring.
This summarises the term 'all right'. It's not great, not terrible but simply an O.K. smoke.
Pipe Used: Mastro Cascia
Age When Smoked: New
