My Smoking Shop - Maple Cavendish.
The dark brown mixture gives off a truly mouth-watering aroma: rich and sweet but not too sugary, there's a goodness coming from the tobacco as well as the topping.
The moisture's good and after taking a whiff of the bag I can't wait to get started!
The flavour is brilliant. The amount of maple coming through is just right for my palate. There's enough of it to be easily identified as being maple but it doesn't seem too heavy or gloopy. It's that 'sticky' feeling that puts me off a lot of aromatics but this is crisper. The flavour's stronger than medium without seeming viscous.
This gives a steady burn although it does seem to burn a touch too fast. It's not hot but it can smoke too quickly.
As this is a Cavendish blend I wasn't expecting much nicotine from it and it's not a surprise that this couldn't offend anyone in the nicotine department!
The room note is good with this. The actual aroma's nice and it doesn't make the room too full of smoke.
I can summarise this blend in two words..... very relaxing.
