Bjarne Viking William The Conqueror

(2.67)
Tangy Orientals, mildly sweet Virginias and a hefty amount of black, smoky Latakia tobacco add up to a robust evening smoke.

This is a nice Latakia forward English. It has all the usual flavors and nuances you would expect from the three components. Smoky, woody, mildly sour and tangy, mildly buttery, a little sweet and fruity. Ranked among others like it I would put this one just slightly above average. Not great, but if this was all there was I could easily smoke this blend and be pretty happy about it.

Ready for smoking straight from the tin. Medium in body. Medium in flavor. Burns nicely.

Another purchase from JR's. I got this just to try all that they had. Light English again. They must feel like you need less not more. This brand is a good choice if you want a little English. Lol. Smokes out of the tin. Has a wooden taste like an oak barrel that has been charred. I don't think it worked for me to little and to late to help with the taste.

Decent English blend with a little latakia spiciness coming forward. Tin note is spice, a little vanilla and leather. I got lots of woody, nutty flavors coming through with very slight peppery spice at times. Wish the latakia was more pronounced but not a bad blend.
