Cup O' Joes #2 Maricoxi
(3.50)
A coarse cut Virginia mixture with broken Virginia flake, gold Virginia ribbon, and a little black cavendish. A complex blend with light notes of orange, chocolate and honey - just enough to compliment the natural flavors of the leaf.

CupOJoes #2 Marcoxi is blend of broken, rough-cut, and ribbon cut virginas; with black Cavendish; and chocolate, honey, and orange toppings. I was excited to try this mixture after my sad experience with Borkum Riff Honey & Orange. Upon opening the can I could smell tobacco and a hint of chocolate; no strong odor of honey and orange; and this continued as I rubbed the earthy mix of burnt sienna, russet, and yellow ochre tobaccos in my hand. The blend packed well and burned to the bottom of the bowl of a EA Carey pipe. The smoke was mild to medium; the taste was excellent with a hint of natural chocolate with a touch of natural orange, I could not taste any honey. I was told the odor was pleasant and she detected the chocolate, akin to a chocolate chip muffin. Another four star product from CupOJoes.

A tastefully done aromatic. The added flavors are light enough for the natural tobacco flavors to come through. I get mostly chocolate and orange from the topping. The honey seems to add nothing more than a little sweetness. The Black Cav is nice and toasty with the Virginias well in the background. All in all a very pleasant smoke. You need to keep a moderate pace or it can burn a little warm.
Medium in body and taste. Added flavors are mild. Burns great straight from the tin.
