Found this to be a fairly straight forward smoke for an aromatic. The cherry liqueur flavor referenced is very, very faint. This tobacco definitely does not have the chemical cherry smell or burn you get with many cherry tobaccos. In fact, it's almost non existent. I think that makes it a good thing here. The tobacco allows the Virginia to do its thing. Fairly straight forward smoke but it makes you savor it's nuance. If you are looking for a cherry punch, this probably isn't it. With that said, I found it to be be good smoke of virginia none-the-less. Not quite enough interest in it for me. But again, not bad.

Really helps if you mix this with Sutliff Cherry in equal parts, giving a cherry-vanilla taste. Burns a bit hot but mixing in with Sutliff Cherry somehow balances it out.

Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Cherry Cavendish (#12).
The pouch contains coarse, medium and light brown, ribbons, which have a good hydration and a smell clearly of cherries.
The smoking: I enjoy a few cherry aromatics, but this isn't one of them. The cherry liqueur tastes sour, bitter, and strong, it burns hot, and it bites hard. To try to be be fair I'll highlight a few positives: it doesn't require many relights, burns clean to a dark ash, and....... those are the only redeeming features with the smoking!
Nicotine: mild. Room-note: quite pleasant, but fairly potent.
Cherry Cavendish (#12)? A horrible smoke which won't be included in my rotation. Not recommended:
One star.
