I agree with Wintermute's evaluation of this tobacco. Sweet but not too sweet and not so heavily topped that the subtle flavors of the Virginias are washed out. I am predominately a non-aro smoker who has taken on a revived liking toward aromatics and would probably order this tobacco again. Sweet smokes gents!

The pouch aroma is sweet and salty. The moisture level is just right fresh out of the box and bag. It lights easily and you are greeted with plumes of thick smoke. The aroma is of both tobacco and sweetness. It is not too sweet and there is no tongue bite. This is one of those rare tobaccos that have a great aroma and a taste that is very much of quality tobacco. To tell the truth, the aroma is nutty while the taste is of Virginia and only a hint of Burley. I recommend this for those that do not like aromatics, but do not want to be sent outside just to have a smoke. This is one of the few tobaccos with Burley that the wife will tolerate. In fact, she actually will request it on occasion! The flavor stays the same all the way down to the bottom of the bowl. The ash is fine and very nice to knock out of your pipe. The aroma stays in the room for longer than most pipe tobaccos and is very nice.
