Gawith Hoggarth - Brown Twist Sweet Vanilla.
This is superbly simple to prepare, it's not too tightly rolled so once it's cut into coins they can be rubbed as you would a flake. The aroma coming from it only smells faintly of vanilla, but then again vanilla doesn't have a particularly 'abrasive' smell so I guess it's the norm!
When I've filled my pipe I get a lovely surprise, I rub my lips and catch my tongue where I get a great taste of vanilla, I could happily chew this! The flavour of the smoke is great! The vanilla comes through more prevalent than it did in the aroma and by retro-haling the vanilla addition is perfect. The vanilla also leaves a lasting aftertaste in my mouth, I'm sure some people won't find that appealing but I like it! Although the vanilla is noticeable it doesn't mask the tobacco taste, on it's own the Virginia comes through with eminence. Nicotine is of a good amount, it's not a brain masher but it will definitely satiate "N" lovers! The smoke is fairly cool in temperature, even when strained forcefully it only becomes a medium temperature. I get no tongue bite, I can smoke with impunity and it still remains calm. Despite how cool the smoke is the burn is really consistent all the way and because it doesn't burn too quickly it makes a great tobacco to relax with, e.g I can smoke this in my Markuz poker and one bowl easily lasts an hour and a half! As this burns it leaves behind a white ash, in fact at the end the only remnants in the bowl consist of white ash.
This really is one of the finest Vanilla tobaccos I have had the pleasure of loading my pipe with. An easy one to rate... four stars!

The strong, earthy Virginias have a bit of dark fruit, a light citrus and vegetative, floral grass, some wood, and a few cigar notes. The deeply rich vanilla topping sublimate the tobaccos a little, and doesn’t weaken at any time. The nic-hit is a little past medium. Won’t bite or get harsh, but has a minor rough edge at times. No matter how you prepare it, it will burn slow, cool, and clean with mostly consistent flavor. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and needs a fair number of relights. Has a pleasant and lingering after taste, and room note. Not an all day smoke; it’s more of a dessert smoke.
