This pure and natural Burley is a blending tobacco. Even if it is a blending tobacco you can smoke it straight if you are a Burley lover. The taste is quite good, with a natural “undercurrent” of chocolate and a light nutty flavor. I bought it in Switzerland at Tabaccheria Dubini in Lugano, but it is possible to order it online (www. dubini.ch). The owner, Mrs Monica Dubini, is very willing and she is very kind and pleasant. Her tobacco store is well-furnished and you can find a wide range of tobaccos. In my personal rating (from 1 to 10) my score is 7 and two stars.

Villiger calls their 5th Avenue a blending Burley. Perhaps so, as the cut is a fine short ribbon and would probably fit in nicely as a bulk builder for just about any blend. However, I only smoked mine straight as I enjoyed the strength. Not a lot of flavor though. Almost like smoking a cigarette.
