Carey's - Cavendish Mixture.
The blend has a higher proportion of Black Cavendish with about 25% Virginia. The smell that emanates from this is a standard Black Cav' one with some extra sweetness in there as well. It is made up of prominently shorter rubbing's, there are a few bigger/chunkier pieces but it mostly consists of smaller ones.
When I light mine up I am instantly greeted by a soft, laid back and sweet taste, this really is one to relax with in the evening! The honey taste cuts through well, it works perfect along with the Black Cav's own sweet character. Nicotine now, mild, I really have to take big gulps of smoke to notice it! Throughout the smoking of this one it burns quite well, it does need the odd re-light but not too often. As the pipe burns the honey flavour becomes stronger, it is noticeable from the beginning but as it burns down it becomes sweeter. The flavour is nice but on the not so good side it has to be sipped, if not it can give quite a kick to my tongue!
As I said at the beginning this is a tobacco to relax with, it would be lovely in the evening to wind down with but the only reason I can't give it full marks is the tongue bite.
Sadly due to this it can only have three!
