It burned slow and dry, required an average number of relights, and left little moisture in the bowl. Had a mild nic-hit. It tasted like spoiled honey oats with an unpleasant sharpness. The light addition of the rum tasted cheap and sour with very little sweetness. There was bright, grassy, citrusy Virginia in here along with the gold cavendish, but it helped nothing. I had to smoke it slowly to avoid tongue bite. It was designed to be an all day smoke.
