There are several Virginias which, combined, offer a lightly sweet (citrus, and dark fruit), and a little earthy base for the spicy/raisin and figgy perique. The amount of perique is moderate. The cavendish is a light addition, adding a very mildly sweet, and toasted bread character. Well blended, it offers a consistent taste all the way through the bowl at a perfect, moderate burn rate. The nic-hit is just past being mild. No dull or harsh spots, and it won't bite. Leaves almost no moisture in the bowl, and needs few relights. Has a pleasant, slightly lingering after taste. Not an original idea for a mixture, but it's well crafted with a superior flavor - bold enough for the experienced smoker, and something a VaPer newbie can handle.

I just finished the tin of this gifted me from a friend in Germany quite a while ago. This is a great Vaper variation. It is spicy sweet and smokes well. I agree with Jiminks review on this and his rating and will second that it would make a great intro Vaper to a newb. Only problem is the Newb would likely need to be in Germany as it is not the easiest thing to get a hold of elsewhere.
I had trouble deciding between a 3 and 4 star on this as I do find Strang to be better, but this blend certainly deserves 4 stars on its own merits. It is a little more pedestrian than Strang, yet still somewhat similar. Great stuff. I have left this as none detected on flavoring, but would not doubt the existence of a topping on this one.
