The tobaccos constitute a fine blend. However, I really cannot detect any bourbon...maybe just a little. If you ordinarily smoke uncased tobacco, this will likely still be ok. I enjoyed it, but wish that the flavoring was more pronounced.
Govern yourself accordingly.

Upon opening there is the woodsy, sweet, intoxicating distillery scent. The bourbon mixed with the peppery and dark fruit notes of the perique produces an alluring bourbon barrel smell. The cuts are rather consistent, displaying a contrast between the red and yellow Virginias, black cavendish and perique. There were ZERO stems!
Moisture was only somewhat higher than normal, but did not cause any bite. Slight tickle on the tongue from the bourbon but was very pleasant. There were three distinct stages in the bowl; first the natural sweetness of the Virginia with mild bourbon, then full on bourbon goodness, and lastly, cool bourbon barrel when the perique kicks in. Great all the way down to the bottom of the bowl. Room note is very pleasant and sweet bourbon finish that lingers in the mouth. Delightfully strong but not overpowering. Highly recommend.

Rich, smooth, and delicious with a nice touch of bourbon. I'm not very into aromatics so this is simply great for me. Wonderfully done. Great nighttime smoke. I highly recommend it.
