This is Christmas before Christmas! Mainly plum cake to my buds, can't find cinammon and honey is very light. But plum is really present, to be more specific it tends towards the taste of a german christmas cake named stollen or christstollen, add to it black cherry notes fading to anise and you got the spirit. Nutiness appears by midbowl as well. Could eat it at tin overture! Really faithful to Christmas scents and aromas. An exquisite dessert for ARO lovers ( and I am!). The leaf employed is top quality as well. Highly recommended

Peterson-Holiday Season 2013. I don't usually smoke aromatics but have enjoyed having them as part of my rotation lately!

I find this a very tasty blend. Maybe the couple of years aging have helped the flavours come together because this is one enjoyable smoke.

The smell from the tin is very Christmas like. Sweet, spicy and fruity; very intoxicating!

I can't complain about the moisture in the tin. It's totally perfect. This may be because it's a push/click lid as opposed to a factory air sealed tin and it's allowed its water to diminish somewhat. I'm not sure and nor am I bothered as I'm more concerned about filling and lighting rather than pondering on that!

I think the flavour of this smoke is superb. The taste is rich, fruity, spicy and sweet. Now, I'm guessing that the aging process has made the flavours come through stronger as although a few reviewers rate this as being mild or medium in flavour I would be inclined to air towards the very strong side.

The smoke is cool and the burn is even but it can burn a touch fast if it's not sipped gently. Even though it doesn't bite me I still take it easy with my puffing for this reason!

I find the flavour stronger than some people do but I can't say the same for the nicotine. For me it lands in the very mild category. That bothers me none though as I don't smoke for N.

The room note is perfect for an aromatic lover. Seasonal, fruity, and quite full.

I enjoy this blend a great deal and for this reason I'll highly recommend it....Get some if you see any!

Four stars.

What can I say. Not bad.

The tin note is that of plum and honey. It provides a plesent plum and cinimin taste. And the room note is agin that of plum.

This is a plesent smoke that like many Aros requires time and patience to enjoy to avoid tongue bite or hot pipe. But well worth the time.

Have been smoking two tins of this Tobacco and must admit it' certainly one of the best Christmas editions ever. Very mild and fruity smoke with a very complex mix of various changing flavors through the whole smoke. The room not is quit well accepted by my wife and daughter which tell's a lot ! Onmy fall back is the wet smoke at the end of the pipe. I think the reason is the Tobacco is quiet wet straight out of the tin. I would like that Peterson would keep this as a regular Tobacco, it would certainly the becaome a daily threat.

I opened the tin for Christmas 2014, so one year late. Strong note in the tin with expectencies of fruit and honey. A good smoke with that satisfactory feeling of a nice but not too strong aromatic blend. Plum note in the smoke. To be tried if still available.

This was an enjoyable aromatic. I really like Peterson aros, so I was not too surprised to have enjoyed this one. The aroma really does scream Christmas, which makes it a real treat for the holidays to put you in the mood.

I have not tried any of the other years' releases under the same name, so I am not sure if this is the same topping or not. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for that holiday aro to put them in the mood, but I would not say it is my favorite aro by a long shot.

Thus, three aromatic stars for this one.

Christmas in July for me. As I had too many tins open and conscientiously taking a brake from aromatic blends this had to wait. Now that I opened this, I'm so glad I finally got around to it. Tin note is pleasant to say the least. I can't pick out any individual flavors but the whole aroma is one of a sweet Christmas season desert. Packs nicely in the bowl with no pre drying required from my tin. The leaf is a beautiful mixture of fine quality. Very pleasing colors to the eye. The charring light was a blast of sweet tastes to awaken the taste buds. The first portion of the bowl is certainly plum up front. Cinnamon would dance in and out but only mildly. About mid bowl the plum taste is mixed in with a beautiful mild citrus. A creamy honey like under tone mixes in towards the bottom end and mellows everything out until the the last bit is gone.

An aro with no tongue bite. No matter how hard I try!

The only drawback of this baccy is, that it lacks body and a little more power. It is a very well made aromatic with an excellent room note. It tastes nice and balanced and smokes well, but after a bowl, I already crave another. Aromatic lovers should try it, as long as it is available. It has surprised many natural tobacco smokers in a good way.
