Mild to Medium Medium Mild to Medium Pleasant

The aroma from the pouch is a little stronger than the taste of the tobacco, which is no problem for me. There's a light vanilla note or two playfully merging with the cherry flavor to create one of the coolest burning cavendish blends around. A no bite, smooth burning, and dry smoking mild to medium sweet mixture that doesn't overwhelm your senses. One of the better cherry blends on the market that may even appeal to non-aro smokers as a change of pace smoke. If you like cherry blends, you may find it to be a more satisfying all day product than those you are used to smoking. One of the very few cherry blends I'd give a four star rating to.

Mild Strong Very Full Strong

Most cherry related blends have 2 things in common. 1. The pouch aroma does not transfer well to a flavorful smoke. 2. They typically bite...and some pretty badly. Z50 Black Cordial is exceptional on both fronts.  It lights up easily and burns well.  The cordial topping is present not only in the pouch, but provides a pleasurable smoke from beginning to end.  Nicely balanced, zero bite, sweet and very flavorful.  I will be getting more of this.  Highly recommended for you aromatic lovers.

Similar Blends: Lane Black Raspberry. While Z50 is cherry cordial, I find it very flavorful and a bit fruity, like Lane Black Raspberry. Both are amazing in a sweet, flavorful aromatic..

Mild to Medium Medium Medium Pleasant

This is one of the very few aromatic blends that I like. It smokes cool and has a pleasant, light cherry liquor flavoring: nothing overwhelming at all, like many cherry blends are. It is good to go right out of the jar/baggie or can take a bit of drying if one prefers. It burns well, without a lot of fuss, down to a fine gray ash and it not wet or goopy at all. The room note is much like the tin note (a nice cherry-ish smell) that I can pick up on, which is unusual for me, and lingers a bit. But since it is a pleasant note that is not a negative at all. If you are looking for a pleasant aromatic, one that might remind you of old timers from your fond memories, a non-overwhelming cherry, or a blend that the folks you are around will appreciate, you'll enjoy, and won't bite, I recommend giving this blend a try.

Mild Mild Mild Very Pleasant

Tastey aromatic. Smells like dark cherries in bag, smokes sweet with taste or mild cherry. Very pleasant room note. Can smoke hot and possibly bite if you're not careful. Tastey smoke! No dottle in my pipe.

Mild Mild Medium Very Pleasant

Amazing that this tobacco has all the nice things that you would like in an aromatic blend...nice smell from the bag (vanilla and cherry) but light and not heavy. The 4 oz bag that I had was not overly sticky (think 1Q) and burned to a nice fine ash with little resin left over in the pipe. Slightly sweet and pleasing room note. Note, no bite from this tobacco if smoked slow and had a mild pleasing taste. This is an easy all day smoke. Currently my favorite.

Update, I bought 32 ounces bulk Sutliff Black Cordial from Pipes and Cigars and was surprised at how sticky it was. Not the same stuff that I got from the tobacconist shop. Anyway, I tried to dry some in the oven a 100 F on a cookie tray but it remained sticky. Hard to keep lit but it did taste the same. Makes me wonder if the smaller bag I got was a different manufacturer, Lane maybe?
