I scored a tin of this from a friend. It is an irregular medium wide chopped ribbon with a few random flakes. It appears to be about half back cavendish. The tin note is slightly sweet and there is a slight alcohol note - maybe rum?
Smoking this was uneventful. It burned OK and had a decent but mild tobacco flavor. There was a slightly sweet topping, but even the power of suggestion could not make me taste graham cracker crust and pecan pie. It did not have any vanilla in the flavor. I found the tobacco flavor to be a little thin.
This is really the sort of thing that should be sold in pouches at the drug store. I don't like it as much as Carter Hall, but it is in that class of tobacco.
Given the fact that is was only OK (and also NLA!), it merits a 2 star rating overall. I have no regrets, and I would smoke it again. There are better choices in the OTC-type blends.
