High grade pipe maker Paul Bonacquisti's Park Lane Tobacconist in upstate NY is a real old time pipe shop with more than fifty tobacco blends lining the shop's walls. It's no surprise then that he would venture to create an aromatic krumble kake for is 2011 Christmas blend. The kake has a lightly sweet pouch scent and it breaks apart easily with little to no dry time needed. Christmas Kake packs very easily and is not sticky to the touch. It burns dryly and is a mélange of flavors with the most dominate being cherry. I am not a fan of cherry type tobaccos but this one works. It burns slowly and there is no goop at the end of the bowl. More importantly for me, it doesn't burn hot as many aromatic do. I believe that Park Lane will sometimes keep their holiday blends around and hopefully this will be one of them as it is a very well made aromatic. Kudos to Paul and the gang for this one! Highly Recommended.
UPDATE: Good news! Park Lane has decided to add this to their tinned blend selection.
