Schneiderwind 1846
(3.00)
Something special for friends finely flavored tobacco is our Mixture No.1846, named after the founding years of our house. Best of all, black cavendish tobaccos chosen to give a little wide cut Virginia and a subtle, slightly sweet vanilla top flavour. A delicacy, richly perfumed, extremely soft and mild in taste. Amazing blend! Tin note is sweet but also savoury. Needs a little air and shouldn't be packed too tight. Burns at medium speed. Though there is a large portion of black Cavendish in this mixture, it's not bland by any means, cause the Virginia adds a nice tickle to an otherwise very smooth smoke. I am not too keen on Cavendish in general but in this blend you can tell it is of high quality and it has a fair amount of juicy, earthy taste to it. The light vanilla topping stays nicely in the back but is very pleasantly present in the room note.
