Perhaps one of the hardest to find of the old out of production Levin blends. Old timers tell me that Barry Levin had come upon an exceptional crop of Virginia and had a very limited production to offer. My tin, unfortunately, had been compromised and I had to rehydrate before smoking. Even though I find rehydration to dummy down the original flavor of tobacco, the fine mellowness of the Virginia leaf still came through. I can only imagine the presentation from an uncompromised batch of Gorgorath. Some would call the leaf curly cut, but mine looked more like a short shag cut and it burned very evenly and somewhat quickly.
