Previous reviewer Sean is on the mark and I exuberantly dittohead his findings. "Light and Mild" is very similiar in taste, strength, aroma and mouth feel to another impressive E.A. Carey blend "Mediterranean." Recently Internet purchased 15 ounces of this Kentucky burley and Black tobac for $26.96 before shipping & handling. Up New York State way, where this reviewer hails, such exquisite leaf would cost in the $45.00 range given the Empire State's current draconian tobacco taxes. A rich, pleasant, nutty flavour captures the moment from char light to last puff. I'm what students would label a low but hopefully fair grader and rarely score a blend with 4 stars. But "Light and Mild," given the quality and value, deserve all of them and more. Happy hunting!

All I can say about this blend is wow. Great, top notch. I have been an off & on again pipe smoker for the last 20 years until I found this blend. & if I'd found it 20 years ago I'd been on for ever. This is my all day smoke now & I have totally given up dipping for pipe smoking because of this blend. If You like stronger blends I will forwarn You. You will not find this blend enjoyble at all. But for me it is great. It also passes the wife test as well as my fiancee loves the room note of this blend.

I love this for a change of pace from both aromatics and English blends. This has a wonderful light flavor and room note. This was extremely fresh when it arrived. Gave some to a friend and he loved it better than some of the blends from the big name companies. If you want strong or sweet blends this may not be for you? If you want an honest burley blend with just enough flavor to take the edge off the tobacco and still let the burley flavor come through then try this. It is like some of the blends my father smoked when I was a kid. Nothing fancy or frilly just what the name says, light and mild. Will make a great blending choice as well.
