This tobacco is sold as a blending ingredient and as such it is a very good uncased Black Cavendish. Tin note smells faintly of molasses and decaying grass but I do not believe that any artificial flavouring is added.
Smoked alone it does not have much to offer, but it’s smokable all right. It is a typical Cavendish without any added flavourings, it burns well and most importantly it is mild. The Cavendish procedure produces mild tobaccos which can tone down stronger blends without imparting too much flavor of their own. As such Torben Dansk Black Cavendish is highly recommended. Overall three stars.
