A pressed Cavendish blend, this pipe tobacco has light natural flavor with a hint of wild berry flavoring. It's extremely mild with no bite and has a light and airy European aroma.

The Virginia cavendish is light toasty, citrusy and grassy, and somewhat noticeable, though the wild berry topping sublimates it. The topping is also a little sugary with a chemical, artificial, floral taste that is very distracting. The strength is in the center of mild to medium, while the taste is a step past that level. Has little nicotine. Won't bite or get harsh. Burns cool at a moderate pace with a mostly consistent flavor from top to bottom. Requires some relights as the tobacco is a little moist, and it leaves some of that in the bowl. The unattractive after taste is a little sour, as is the flavor of the product in the last quarter of the bowl.

The more I partake of E.A. Carey's "Europa" the more I am mystified by this apparently esoteric Euro style blend which me thinks resembles a "crossover" or "bridge" mixture containing elements of both sweetened aromatic and English style blended tobaccos. There's a definite sugary berry almost fig like flavour, certainly as you breach the bag and sniff the leaf, and it presents again after char light most prominently in the second half of the bowl smoke. Inbetween, there emanates a curious burnt, almost Latakia like taste. Also unexplainably there is a Mixture 79-like sweet, soapy almost perfume like taste exciting the senses and creating a medicinal concoction resembling an elixir. Its surely a pleasant, complex and sophisticated experience and one I will be drawn into most intriguingly as my adventure with this rogue offering contines to progress. Happy hunting!

This blend has a very different taiste. Not saying it is bad, just different. Has a very berry fruity taiste and the room note is much the same. Not bad but not something I would smoke on an every day bases.
