I consider this one of C&D's best English blends. It's not made anymore but I have about an ounce of this from the '90s. C&D has so many tobaccos that it gets overwhelming at times, not that that's a bad thing. Tartus reminds me of their Rajah's Court, Dunhill London Mixture etc. Very tasty and I wish they'd bring it back.

This blend is much sharper than the other syrian latakia blends from C and D. The bright virginia ribbon makes a very bold statement and when mixed with the Syrian which in itself can be a touch sharp, net result Tartus by name and a little tart by nature. Fine if you like a blend with plenty of top end flavour.
