This is a Black Cav and Virginia blend identical to Antietam except for the top flavoring. Here we have an orange flavored cognac which is a bit more subtle and refined than the apricot brandy used in Antietam. It's very tasty and, in my opinion, well done. The Virginias are noted in the background in the first half, but get lost in the second. The Black Cav is very toasty and adds a mild vanilla note to the cognac's orange. It's a very pleasant smoke.

Mild in body. Mild to medium in taste. Flavoring is mild. Burn is fair with a few relights.

Edit to add that this may very well be McClelland bulk blend 720 Gran Marnier. I haven't tried it so I can't say for sure.

Another McClelland blended for someone elase that is, of course, EXCELLENT! If you like Norse Gold by Tinderbox this will be right up your alley. A lovely, velvety smooth aromatic with no tobacco taste. I truly enjoyed this. Maybe Grand Marinier gives Norse Gold its flavor also. I don't know. This, however tastes wonderful and will surely win friends everywhere. 3.5 of 4 stars.

I am not a big fan of aromatics or burley but this blend is, to my taste, a nice mix of both for a change of pace. The room note inspired a very sensitive Mrs. Moo to say, "Yum. That smells really good. Why don't you smoke it more often?" I didn't say I only had one can and was told the line had been discontinued.

If you like a slightly sticky burley balanced with VA and a sweet note over the top, this will do you fine.
